Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
Callup.gg uses a small set of cookies: what is necessary for authentication, plus optional analytics and advertising pixels that are loaded only if you accept them. We do not serve ads on callup.gg, and we do not sell cookie data.
| Cookie | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-* | Supabase | Essential (first-party) | Login session management - maintains your authenticated session so you stay logged in across pages | Session |
callup_cookie_consent | Callup.gg | Essential (first-party) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. Set only after you answer the banner. | 1 year |
ph_* | PostHog | Analytics (first-party) | Anonymous product analytics - helps us understand how features are used so we can improve the app. No cross-site tracking. Set only if you accept. | 1 year |
_fbp, _fbc | Meta | Advertising | Set by the Meta pixel so Meta can tell that a signup or subscription came from one of our ads, and so Meta can show our ads again to people who visited callup.gg. Set only if you accept. | Set by Meta, outside our control |
_ttp | TikTok | Advertising measurement | Set by the TikTok pixel so TikTok can tell that a signup or subscription came from one of our ads. Set only if you accept. | Set by TikTok, outside our control |
_gcl_* | Advertising measurement | Set by the Google Ads tag so Google can tell that a signup or subscription came from one of our ads. Set only if you accept. | Set by Google, outside our control | |
OpenAI Ads pixel (oaiq) | OpenAI | Advertising measurement | Storage set by the OpenAI Ads SDK (bzrcdn.openai.com/sdk/oaiq.min.js) so OpenAI can tell that a signup or subscription came from one of our ads. Loaded only if you accept. | Set by OpenAI, outside our control |
We do not serve ads on callup.gg, we do not sell cookie data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
We run four advertising pixels: Meta, TikTok, Google Ads and the OpenAI Ads conversion pixel (oaiq). We buy ads for Callup.gg, and these pixels are how we tell which of those ads actually led to a signup or a subscription. The Meta pixel also lets Meta show our ads again to people who visited callup.gg. The pixels are loaded only if you accept on the consent banner. If you decline, or if you have not answered yet, none of the pixel scripts is fetched and none of them sets anything on your device.
We do not show ads on callup.gg itself. Once a pixel reports an event, each platform's handling of that data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
When you first visit callup.gg, a cookie consent banner will appear. You can:
Essential cookies (authentication) cannot be disabled as they are required for the service to function. Without them, you would not be able to log in or maintain a session.
Until you answer, the optional cookies stay off. Neither the analytics tool nor any advertising pixel is loaded, and none of them sets anything on your device, while the banner is still open. Ignoring or dismissing the banner is not consent. This applies whether or not you are signed in: if you already have an account and have not yet answered the banner, no analytics or advertising cookies are set in your browser.
What this banner does not cover. The banner controls what runs in your browser. Separately, and without using any cookie, our own servers record product events tied to your account when you use the service, for example that an LFG post was created or a coaching session was booked. That record is made on our side, it is not switched off by declining here, and it is described in our Privacy Policy under Usage Data and Analytics Identifiers. Also separately, our servers tell Meta and TikTok when a sign-up, first report, trial or subscription happens, sending a hashed email address and user id plus your IP address and browser details; declining here does not stop that either (see §2.3 of our Privacy Policy). If you want any of this stopped, email support@callup.gg.
Your preference is stored on your device in two places, both first-party and readable only by callup.gg: your browser's local storage, and the callup_cookie_consent cookie listed in section 2. Nothing about your choice is sent to a third party.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Change my choice" control at the bottom of this page, which reopens the banner. If you switch from Accept to Decline, we stop browser analytics collection, we stop loading the advertising pixels, and we delete the analytics cookies and analytics browser storage already on your device; the page reloads so that nothing analytics-related keeps running, in every tab you have open. Two limits, stated plainly: anything a third party already received before you declined is out of our hands, and cookies and storage the Meta, TikTok, Google and OpenAI pixels set under their own names are not something we can reach in to delete. Clearing cookies and site data for callup.gg in your browser settings removes the rest.
If we materially change this policy, we may reset saved preferences and ask again.
Your consent banner choice can be changed at any time from the "Change my choice" control at the bottom of this page. In addition, you can manage cookies through your browser settings:
Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in to your Callup account.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
