How do I recruit players for an Overwatch 2 team?
Search the players who said they want a team, filter to the rank band and role you are short of, and check their clips before you reach out. On Callup that search, a roster of 10 and 5 intros a month are included with Pro, and every intro needs the player to accept before a conversation opens.
What rank should I recruit at?
Recruit inside one band of your own. A Gold captain fills out with Gold and Platinum players, since a wide rank gap usually means very different positioning habits. Callup shows a rank on every player card so you can see the gap before you send an intro.
How do I find a second support?
Filter by the Support role. Two supports means the second one still needs to be searched for on its own merits, not treated as whoever is left over.
Is recruiting free?
Browsing teammates and posting LFG are free. Recruit, which is the search, the roster and the intros, is included with Callup Pro at no extra charge.
Do players know I am looking at them?
No. A player appears in the search because they marked themselves open to teams or have a live LFG post. They hear from you only when you send an intro, and they can decline or block from that card.
Can I recruit players under 18?
Nobody under 16 appears in Recruit at all. Players aged 16 and 17 are opt in only, and no Recruit page ever shows a player's age or birthdate.
