About Imola
Old-school, narrow, anti-clockwise circuit with high, aggressive kerbs. Named corners: the Tamburello and Villeneuve chicanes, Tosa, Piratella, Acque Minerali, Variante Alta and Rivazza. The main straight ends in heavy braking for the Tamburello chicane, the main overtaking spot. Overtaking is very difficult, so qualifying matters.
