Add the Callup Coach to Your Discord Server

Your members run /review on a clip and the Callup coach posts its take right in the channel. Valorant, League, CS2 and a dozen more games. Every member uses their own free reviews.

How it works

A member runs /review

They attach a clip (MP4 or MOV) or paste a Discord or Medal link, pick the game, and can add a note on what to look at.

The coach watches it

The same Replay Coach as callup.gg reviews the clip. It takes a few minutes. Only the member sees the bot's replies while it works.

The review comes back to the member

The coach's take, the one thing to fix and the assignment arrive on Callup (and by Discord DM). A member who picks public gets them posted in the channel instead, with a link to the full report.

Built for community servers

Game communities, team servers, coaching servers and college esports clubs. Nothing to configure: add the bot and members can use /review straight away.

Private by default, public by choice

Every reply about a member's account is visible to that member only. Reviews are private unless the member sets visibility to public, which posts the finished review in the channel. Public is only for members 16 and over with a date of birth on Callup.

Questions server admins ask

Who pays for the reviews?

Each member, from their own Callup account. A review uses Energy, and free accounts get some every week. The server never pays and the bot never gives a review to someone without an account.

What does a member need?

A Callup account with Discord linked. Signing in with Discord at callup.gg does it, or an existing account can connect Discord under Settings, Sign-in methods. A member who has not linked gets a private message from the bot telling them how.

What gets posted publicly?

Reviews are private by default: the review goes to the member on Callup (and by Discord DM unless they turned those off), and nothing is posted. Public is only for members 16 and over with a date of birth on Callup; anyone else who picks public still gets the review, privately, and the bot tells them why. A public review posts in the channel: a mention of the member, their grade, the one thing to fix, the summary, the first correction, the assignment, a still from the clip and a link to the full report. That link opens for anyone and shows the member's Callup username, display name and avatar, the rank and character they declared, the whole report and a short clip from their upload with its sound.

What can the bot see?

Only the slash commands members send it, and the clip attached to one. It does not read your channels or message history, and it asks for no moderation permissions: View Channel, Send Messages, Send Messages in Threads and Embed Links, so it can post the review.

Can I limit it to one channel?

Yes. Anyone who can manage the server can run /callup setup and pick a review channel. Run it again with no channel to allow every channel. Without setup, /review works in any channel the bot can post in.

Are there limits?

By default, each member can start 3 reviews an hour, and each server 30 a day, on top of the member's own Energy.

How do I remove it?

In Discord, open Server Settings, then Integrations, choose Callup and remove it. You can also restrict who can use each command from the same page.
